For the past few years we have been your customer for servicing our HVAC and some plumbing. One of you representatives, Mike - number 437 -- keeps us very loyal to you. He is professional and personable. He got along great with our dogs and family. Most importantly the work has been thorough and accurate. I am one of those guys that sticks his nose into things and want to understand it all -- no problem for him. Although the expense of a seven thousand furnace and repairs have been expensive at times -- I feel that I am in good hands and being treated fairly.
Because of Mike, we would not consider using any company other than ARS. Thank you for having such good service technicians.

My roommate (R. Moran) and I had an air conditioner failure last week on the first day it was 106 degrees. We called ARS because we had used you to do both heater and water heater work for his mother last year. Your service man (his name was Richard) came out, evaluated our system and informed us that we needed to replace our condenser (the outside part). In addition, he suggested that we might need to replace the evaporator coils inside the house. We made necessary arranges for the condenser replacement and your serviceman (I believe his name was Ramon Tech 850) was there the next day to do that work. We managed to survive a chilly 87 degree low during the evening that night but Ramon got our new unit installed and running. Our house cooled down that evening and we made the decision to replace the interior coils to increase the efficiency of the new condenser. You sent out another gentlemen (Jim) who evaluated our need and found the product we needed at the price we could afford. The next day two of your service men worked until almost 10 p.m. getting the new coils installed and working and we have had a really nice cool environment since. As if that were not enough, Richard came back and cleaned our unit and the blower motor and gave us a very easily understood explanation about what we needed to do and how in order to maintain our new unit at its highest efficiency.
While we were very pleased with the work you had done for R. Moran’s mother we are even more impressed with the work you did for us during this incredible heat wave Austin is having. Every one of your staff we have dealt with (including Perla in your offices) have been professional, friendly, helpful and consistently the best we could have asked for. Even in the heat, when I might have not been able to be very nice myself, your staff have been great.
I hope you will pass on to everyone that worked on our air conditioner how much we appreciate the work they did and how that work and the experience of working with them was one the lessened the stress of loosing air conditioning during the heat.
We will absolutely call ARS in the future when we move into the area of doing some additional electrical work on our house simply because you have demonstrated that you are a company the can be trusted to do good work, offer competitive or less expensive prices and have a great bunch of folks working with you.

I would like to share with you my excellent experience with several of you associates. I was initially greeted by Crystal on Thursday evening. She listened to all of my issues and informed me that someone could gladly come out and review my complaints at no charge (amazing). To my surprise, your company was able to accommodate my request of a Saturday afternoon service call.
I called earlier in the
day on Saturday to see if my appointment could be moved closer to 4 pm as I was still tying up some family business across town. Homer answered the phone promptly, and I told him what I needed. He asked me to reassess what my problem was. Upon explaining it to him, he
determined that I was in need of your plumbing supervisor and would request my appointment be closer to 4 pm. Lloyd called me to let me know that he was about 30 minutes away. I explained to him that I was just leaving my location and could be there in about 45 minutes. He said not a problem and waited for me to arrive. Upon my arrival, he reviewed my complaints and throughly read the documentation of my dishwasher and performed several water test.
Adjusted everything he felt should eliminate my problem and told me to let him know if that did not work. He also helped me with a water attachment that I had already had to assist with my hard water issue.
I would like to praise you on your companies overall excellent
customer service. From beginning to end it was handled professionally and with great care. I will definitely, without a doubt be using your
company in the future and will recommend you highly to my friends, family, and clients.

Today Wendell from ARS came to repair a refrigerator door problem and once again I am very pleased with the service.
For several years I have called upon ARS for a new installation of air conditioning, repair of air problems, appliance, and plumbing problems and in every instance I was very pleased with the end result. A couple of times I was not pleased and I called the local manager to express my concern. In each case a supervisor showed up at my door and together we discussed the situation and ARS fixed everything to my complete satisfaction.
Needless to say that is why I called ARS when I had a problem today. I understand problems will happen with repairs but a company accepting responsibility to make it right will always get my business.

I was so surprised by the service I received from your company a couple of weeks ago that I felt the need to at least send an email to comment.
I called one morning and was told by your representative that we were on the schedule for today and would receive a phone call 30 minutes prior to the service technician arriving. I received the phone call and the tech arrived and said that the a/c was frozen and he couldn't diagnose the problem until it had time to thaw. Sometime later, I received another phone call telling me that a tech would arrive within 30 minutes. He did, fixed the problem and we had our a/c back running again. I know this is the way service businesses should operate, but this was the first time I've experienced it. It always seems that I'm given a "time window " to wait for a service technician to show up or to receive a call....and they never show or call when they say they will. If it's a problem at my house, I end up using a day of vacation time, waiting.
Have you ever considered doing the subcontracting for the cable company?
Anyway, I just wanted to say I appreciate it and when our a/c doesn't blow or our plumbing goes south (or doesn't), I'll be sure to call you guys again.

I just wanted to pass my thanks for a job well done and commend ‘Jerry’ for his work this week at our home.
Jerry fixed a wobbly commode for us, but more importantly stayed at our house until I arrived from my nearby place of employment. Evidently the dispatcher had told him that I was home when in reality the dispatcher had only asked me if the timing of his visit would work. I said it would and then headed to my home. Instead of leaving the job site, Jerry checked back with the dispatcher and waited a little while, in which time I arrived.
Jerry was professional, listened while I explained the problem, which we had already had ARS service once before, and then described how he would fix it. I am confident that he did a good job.

I called and your customer service made it possible for someone to come today. She was very nice, cheerful and pleasant on the phone, She started my day so bright. I would like to start by telling you about two wonderful employees you have in Janet (in your office) and Jason our service tech.
Back in April we purchased a new heat pump, air cleaner and humidifier. To say it didn’t go smooth is an understatement.
If it were not for Jason running to our home a few times I don’t know what we would of done. He tried to helped me clean up all the water from the leak of our new system. Then he had to come back out because the humidifier was set to run non stop. Both times Jason stopped what he was doing and come over to help us out.
Then there is Janet in your claims office. She made me feel that I had a friend at ARC and she would make sure that we got taken care of.
I can’t say enough about these two. Please let them both know how much Bob and I appreciate everything they did.

I know people are always notifying companies when something is wrong but I'm letting you know how wonderful your company is. Please don't ever change your "gold" standard of service. We have been doing business with you for a long time and everytime it was justified why we called you first. On December 23 we had a pipe burst in our house the most horrific experience ever. I called a different company thinking you didn't do that kind of work, the other company said they would be at the house around 4:00 pm the pipes burst at 8:30 am just to double check I called ARS and at around 11-12 there was our technician at the door! His proirity was to assure me he would find the problem and fix it . 3 hours later and several bursts in the pipes fixed ! He checked and double checked and answered every question and doubt I had . I thinke my tech was named Darian and I want you to know he was our hero that day! I just wanted to write a personal thank you to ARS for a very positive experience with one of you repair technicians (Steve). I called ARS after the pipes in the kitchen and bathrooms of the church had frozen overnight. I was braced for a costly visit from the ARS tech, however to my delight his inspection revealed that the unit was working properly. He simply gave me tips on keeping the rest of the building warmer in order for the small unit that covers the kitchen and bathrooms to function more efficiently. How encouraging that (3 days before Christmas) a tech could come out and resist running up the charges in order to pad his own pockets and increase sales in a difficult economy. I cannot say thank you enough! I will be requesting Steve each time I call ARS for a service call.

Sorry for the late message. But we really wanted to say what a great job Dennis and his partner did on 4/29/09. They showed up at our house at about 6:30pm to check on our leaking water heater. It needed replacing and they stayed until the job was completely done and done right. We had ad no interruption in hot water. Dennis and his partner were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The water heater is working very well and they stayed well beyond their usual end of work hour. Rescue Rooter should be very proud to send out representatives such as Dennis. I am writing to express a job well done to to Tony, the plumber who repaired a leak in our shower yesterday. We had two prior visits from a plumber from rescue rooter and the thought was it would take extensive work involving cutting behind the wall to access and replace a faulty diverter valve which was thought to be causing the leak. Tony insisted on taking a fresh look at the problem, and he discovered the cause was much simpler and he easily fixed the problem without having to access behind the wall, saving us both time and money!. I am writing in regards to a very positive experience I had recently with your company. I had an unexpected plumbing issue that occured late on Sunday evening. I scheduled an appointment online for first thing on Monday morning (between 8am and 10am). I was very pleased to hear from the call center at 7:55 am. They called to confirm my appointment and let me know that they would call when the technician was on the way. Although I had to wait for a while, I was not upset since the call center continued to call and let me know that I had not been forgotten. The service technician, Justin (San Diego office), exceeded my expectations in every way. He was professional, polite and seemed to show a genuine concern for my plumbing issue. I have never had a plumber been so clean and thorough with their work. Justin quietly fixed the problem allowing me to work from home basically undisturbed. When the work was complete, the bathroom was left clean with everything in it's place. I was so impressed that I thought I should take time out of my day to send an email.

We had been having trouble with our plumbing for years. Even after the foundation was repaired we kept having to call ARS Rescue Rooter to clean out our pipes. Whoever was sent was always courteous and professional. Recently we noticed there was a huge crack in one of our walls and called the foundation specialist. They found the piers they had installed were installed correctly and they said water was getting in from somewhere. Of course we called ARS Rescue Rooter. They set up their video equipment and did a thorough job in investigating the situation. I kept insisting they had done the original work 10 years ago. They researched that too. I t turns out that it was our insurance's group of plumbers not Rescue Rooter. There was hugh leak leaks in several places and they had to break through the floors in the house. The fact of the matter was ARS did all they could to get us the best work possible economically. The lead plumber, was fantastically professional, as were the helpers who came out off and on during the repairs. Mr. Green always explained what was going to happen, how it was going to happen and when. Every step of the way he showed us what he actually found and explained how he was going to repair it. He did his best to keep the dust down from the jack hammer, he protected the house environment with plastic sheeting and every evening he would clean up as best as he could. He let me know when I needed to pack up my breakables and offered to help if needed. Brian took time to get aquainted with my dogs and take thier needs into account and to introduce each of the helpers whenever they came around. All in all, considering the situation, it was a very pleasant experiance. I would and have recommended ARS / Rescue Rooter to all my friends and neighbors.
