Jeremy,
I am writing to express my deep appreciation for the creativity and great work of Rescue Rooter plumber Robert M.
Three other plumbers each told me with great certainty and conviction that the main drain line from my home to the city sewer line was not only clogged but also completely blocked due to collapse. They told me this after 'snaking' the line and running a camera through the line. These other plumbers marked the path of the drain line in my yard, gave me a written estimate of just under $3,400 to dig up my entire front yard to replace the line (cautioning that there could be up to an additional $7,500 if they had to dig up the asphalt street from my property to the city sewer line). They assured me that I was completely out of service and would not be able to flush or run any other water in my home until this repair was done.
Now, I'd imagine that most folks wouldn't be happy with any of this news, but I was particularly distressed because of being unemployed since 12/2008. The stress of this situation was pretty incredible and worsened as water and sewage slowly backed up in my basement floor and bathtub.
Sadly for me, I didn't recall your company's name in the beginning; I had used Rescue Rooter in another home years ago. Robert M. came to my home around 5ish on the Saturday afternoon before Easter. Within an hour all water was draining from my home. He began by listening to me tell what I knew from the previous plumbers. He then explained that if he couldn't get the drain line cleared, there would be no charge for his service. When he asked didn't the previous company have a similar guarantee, I, sadly again, said "no". Within less than 2 hours he was done and had explained his work to me: how he had taken 1 blade of the 'snake' which made it small enough to get partially through the clog and then reattached it to clear out the drain line completely. I was beyond thrilled with this news!
Jimmy A. came to my home on the following Tuesday with camera to look through my drain line and inspect its condition. He re-marked my front yard to trace the path of the drain line. Image my complete lack of surprise when he showed and explained to me that the previous crew was actually off by several feet on the drain line's location at the point between my yard and the street. If I'd had the other crew do the work (if I'd had the money) they would have had to completely decimate my front yard as they had moved to create another trench with the back hoe. He did show me that, indeed, there is a belly in my drain line which may need repair in the near future. Still not thrilled with the news, I felt better knowing exactly what was wrong and some steps to maintain my drain line flow until that time. He then explained the process of installing a PermaLiner which would prevent the complete destruction of my front yard.
Because of these 2 guys (who were also very nice people to work with), I have a functioning house again and some time to save up for the future work. I really appreciate creativity, honesty, and professionalism. I highly recommend them for a commendation within your company and ARS/Rescue Rooter to anyone with drain problems.
Sincerely,
Gabriel V.

Dear Dennis,
Our recent purchase prompts this letter. We find your company has both excellent customer service and a professional attitude on the part of your employees. We are extremely pleased with the purchase and installation of your products.
Three years ago ARS installed central air in our home. That experience, the price negotiated, your rating with the BBB and Juan C.'s knowledge and consideration doing the estimate all contributed to our again using your company.
We had negotiated a contract with Scott J. and agreed to have a furnace and hot water heater installed on March 31st. On March 26th at 3:00 a.m. our furnace stopped working. It was cold and snowing when we called for help.
We called Scott first. He sent Juan out to evaluate the problem. After determining it was not a reasonable fix, he contacted Scott, who had installers in our home within an hour.
Jordan and Mike completed the job in five hours including the hot water heater. Juan came out a week later to inspect the installation to ensure all was working properly. To say we were impressed with this follow-up is an understatement.
We want to thank Scott, Jordan, Mike and most of all Juan for a job well done and complement them on their work ethic.
Sincerely,
Mort and Jane L.
